Nepean Wildcats Intermediate AA

The Intermediate AA team is coached by Bruce MacDonald. The team competes in the Provincial Women’s Hockey league. The Provincial Women's Hockey League (or PWHL) is a Junior women's ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada that was founded in 2004. It is considered to be the highest level of junior women's amateur ice hockey in Ontario, and is sanctioned by Hockey Canada and the Ontario Women's Hockey Association.

The PWHL provides alumni to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (USPORTS), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) the Professional Women's Hockey League, as well as the Canada women's national ice hockey team.

5 Wildcats Selected to the OWHA U16 High Performance Camp

August 4, 2019

Congratulations to the following NGHA Midget AA players: Emma Eryou, Peyton Gray, Karina Hageltorn, Jill Hennessy, and Gracie Sacca who were selected to participate in the OWHA U16 High Performance Program held in Alliston, Ontario from July 18 to 21, 2019.

The OWHA’s U16 High Performance Program provides enhanced training for identified athletes through elite instruction, education and training on and off the ice. Players were introduced to a wide variety of development components key to improving their skills and knowledge of the game of hockey.

Michelle Pasiechnyk selected to Team Canada’s Goalie Development Camp!

August 1, 2019

Michelle is one of twenty goaltenders named to the Canada’s National U18 goaltending camp held in Calgary, Alberta on June 6-8, 2019.

Pasiechnyk will be entering her second season with the Nepean Wildcats Intermediate AA team. She played a total of 25 regular season games in 2018/19, and posted a 1.45 GA and a 0.939 save percentage. Michelle also helped her team reach the PWHL Playoffs. She had a 1.56 Goals against average and a 0.947 save percentage during the playoff games. Michelle will be going to the University of Clarkson in 2020/21.
